A PST file is a file that contains personal information and other such data, used by the Microsoft Outlook and Exchange emailing programs.
The file includes data on email folders, contacts, addresses, names and other such information. They are limited to just two-gigabytes in size and may cause Outlook to slow once they near that limit.
